Principal's Message

Dear CHS Parents,

Dates and times have been established for you to pick up your student’s items from their lockers as well as any awards they may have earned:

WEDNESDAY, MAY 20

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  By appointment only.  Please contact the front office to schedule a time.  The number is (765) 795-4203

5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.     No appointment necessary.

Below are the procedures for this process, as well as additional information to share:

The pick-up process:

1.  All students will come in the main parking lot entrance and be greeted by an employee (Mr. Sailor) who is at the start of the delivery line.  Do not roll down your window.  Stop for a brief second and let them see your name you have posted on your passenger (yours might be driver's) side window.  They will motion you to go to stop # 2.

2.  Stop # 2 is book or item drop-off (school, library, or any other objects you need to return).  Just roll down your driver's side window and return any items on the cart.  You might have to stop your car and get out.  This is permissible.  Make sure your student's name, grade level, and teacher's name) is on the returned item.  Your next move will be to stop # 3.

3.  Stop # 3 is to pick up locker contents and any other items we need to get back to you.  Do not get out of your car.  Just pop the trunk and we will place your items in the trunk.  This is for your safety and ours.  We will be wearing masks and gloves.

  • If your child has medications in the nurse’s clinic that need to be picked up, Nurse Shields or a school designee will be available all day on Wednesday, May 20.Let the staff member know if you have medications to pick up when you arrive at Stop # 1.
  • It is fine if a family friend picks up student items; however, a family member must pick up medications.

Thank you in advance for following the above protocol in order to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved.
